Rosseti South invested 3.6 billion rubles in the development of power systems of four regions since the beginning of 2023

From January to September of 2023, Rosseti South allocated 3.6 billion rubles (145% of the plan) to develop the energy systems in the regions of the company activities. The amount of investment for the energy sector in the Astrakhan region amounted to almost 598 million rubles, in the Volgograd region — 813 million rubles, in Kalmykia — 164 million rubles, in Rostov region — 2 billion rubles.
Over the nine months, 484 kilometers of power transmission lines were built and reconstructed and substations with a total capacity of over 80 MVA were commissioned. These indicators amounted to 312 km of transmission lines and 57 MVA of capacity in the Rostov region. They were achieved in the region through the construction of technological connection facilities, including applicants of privileged categories, and reconstruction of the electricity distribution network.
58 km of power lines were built and reconstructed and 10 MVA substations were put into operation in the Volgograd region; 79 km of power lines and 12 MVA were put into operation in the Astrakhan region. Power grid complex in Kalmykia was expanded with 34 km of transmission lines and 0,7 MVA of capacity.
Almost 1.9 billion rubles were allocated to the construction of facilities for the technological connection of preferential energy consumers category. In order to fulfill the obligations under the applications of beneficiaries, power engineers built 375 km of transmission lines and commissioned 46 MVA of transformer capacity.
The implementation of Rosseti South investment program allows to ensure social and economic development in the regions of the company’s activity, increase the reliability of electricity supply to customers and create the necessary conditions for technological connection to the electricity grid.
