Rosseti South increased financing of the repair program by 19%

Since the beginning of 2023, Rosseti South has allocated more than 1.8 billion rubles for the implementation of the electric grid maintenance and repair program in the regions of the company activity. This index is 19% higher than January-September last year.
The largest amount of funding for repair work were received from the industrially developed regions of the south: Rostov region - 830.3 million rubles and the Volgograd region - 577,3 million rubles. 297,4 million rubles were allocated for the maintenance campaign in the Astrakhan region and 141,5 million rubles in Kalmykia.
Thus, during the reporting period, the energy company increased its expenditures on repair of overhead power lines by 5.4% to 392.5 mln rubles, which allowed to bring more than 1.5 thousand kilometers of power lines into standard condition.
The cost of works at substations with the capacity of 35 kV and above increased by 11%, amounting to 217 million rubles. As a result, 40 transformers, 3.1 thousand transformer substations with voltage of 6-10/0.4 kV, more than 4.5 thousand units of switching equipment were repaired.
The company allocated 789 million rubles (+18%) for the maintenance of power facilities, including equipment diagnostics.
The increase in financing of the repair program is due to the need to improve the quality and reliability of power supply to customers.
It should be reminded that Rosseti South plans to allocate almost 2.1 billion rubles for the repair and maintenance of power facilities in 2023. Implementation of the program measures will ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to customers, reduce the number of technological failures and the time of their elimination, and prepare the power grid complex for the autumn-winter period of 2023/2024.
