Power engineers have prepared more than 80 substations for winter loads in the central part of Rostov region

In the first nine months of 2023, specialists of Rostovenergo (branch of Rosseti South) repaired the equipment of more than 80 35-110 kV substations in the central part of the Rostov Region. This will ensure reliable power supply to customers during the fall and winter period in densely populated areas of the region: Aksaysky, Bagayevsky, Veselovsky and Semikarakorsky, as well as Rostov-on-Don.
In particular, power engineers repaired the power transformer at the 110 kV substation in Olginskaya village by replacing all the seals, disk gates, and carried out an audit of voltage regulation devices under load. As a result, the reliability of power supply to household customers in Aksai district with a population of almost 120 thousand people was improved. In addition, disconnectors designed for switching on and off de-energized sections of high-voltage electric circuits were repaired and 70 units of core insulation were replaced. This will improve the stability of the main 110 kV network, as well as ensure the safety of personnel during operational switching operations.
