In 9M 2023, Rosseti South increased its net profit 2.6 times

According to the Russian accounting standards, in January-September 2023, Rosseti South, PJSC received 3.6 billion rubles in net profit, which is 2.6 times higher than the previous year.
The growth of this index by almost 2.2 billion rubles was mainly due to an increase in revenue from electricity transmission. In addition, during the reporting period, we received other subsidiary income in the form of profit of previous years, penalties for breach of contractual obligations, payments on property insurance, and from the recovery of valuation reserves.
In the first nine months of the year, Rosseti South's revenue increased by 16.8% to 36 billion rubles compared to the same period last year, including a 16.9% increase in revenue from electricity transmission services to 33.5 billion rubles. At the same time, the prime costs increased by 13% to 29.4 billion rubles.
Based on the results of activities in January-September of 2023, the company's gross profit amounted to 6,7 billion rubles (an increase of 37,6%), profit from sales - almost 6 billion rubles (an increase of 43.1%).
