In 2024, Rosseti South will allocate about 2.4 billion rubles for the renewal of energy facilities

In 2024, Rosseti South plans to allocate almost 2.4 billion rubles to repair and maintain electric grid facilities in the regions of company activities, which is 14% more than in 2023.
The costs of financing repair and maintenance of power facilities in the Rostov region will amount to 1 billion rubles, in the Volgograd region — more than 715 million rubles. 428 and over 184 million rubles are allocated for the renewal of networks in the Astrakhan region and Kalmykia.
The work plan for the next year includes the repair of more than 1.5 thousand km of power lines of different voltage classes, replacement of 48 thousand insulators and more than 580 km of wire. A large amount of work will be carried out at supply centers, including complete transformer substations located in remote communities in the Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov regions, as well as Kalmykia. It is planned to repair a total of 2,9 thousand transformer substations.
In 2024, repair and maintenance program is based on the state of the equipment and its current level of wear and tear. The implementation of these measures will ensure a high level of reliability of Rosseti South's electric grid complex operation.
