3,000 transformer substations prepared by Rosseti South for the heating season

Since the beginning of 2023, Rosseti South specialists repaired almost 3,100 transformer substations with a capacity of 6-10/0.4 kV in the regions of the company activity. The amount of funding for the works amounted to almost 86 million rubles.
The largest volume of repair measures was carried out in Rostov region - more than 1.5 thousand power supply centers were repaired in this region. 698 transformer substations in the Volgograd region, 517 in the Astrakhan region and 349 in Kalmykia were repaired to their initial operating characteristics.
At substations, power engineers repaired important equipment - more than 400 transformers, as well as auxiliary equipment: circuit breakers, dispatch and process control systems. In addition, obsolete components and parts of relay protection and automation devices were replaced.
All work was carried out under the Rosseti South power equipment maintenance and repair program, the implementation of which makes allows to prepare power grid facilities for stable operation during difficult weather conditions and low temperatures.
