Rosseti South will increase the observability of the electric grid complex in cooperation with Roselectronika

IDGC of the South, PJSC (operating under the Rosseti South brand) and the Roselectronika holding signed a cooperation agreement during the International Forum “Power Grids” in Moscow. The parties will jointly develop the observability of the electric grid complex during the digital transformation of the electric power industry and import substitution of electrical products.
The document was signed at the forum by Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti South, and Alexey Melnikov, First Deputy General Director of the Roselektronika holding. It is planned to achieve the intended results through the use of products of the military-industrial complex, development of advanced technologies and equipment for global and local communication systems.
“The use of military-industrial complex products and implementation of innovations will increase the observability of the equipment of the electric grid complex. Therefore, this will affect reliability of power supply for customers through prompt response to deviations in equipment parameters, preventing most of the accidents and technological violations, ”said Boris Ebzeev.
“Partnership with leading players in the electric grid complex allows us not only to create solutions, that are required in the electric power industry as part of the import substitution program today, but also to form a scientific and production base for future technologies. For example, process to develop new standard smart electricity metering devices, based on the domestic electronics, that will ensure network security and provide new opportunities for final costumers is currently underway, ”emphasized Alexey Melnikov, First Deputy General Director of the holding Roselektronika.
