The Ministry of Energy of Russia confirmed the readiness of Rosseti South for the 2025/2026 heating season

Rosseti South has received a Certificate of Readiness for the 2025/2026 heating season. The document, issued based on the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation dated November 7, 2025, confirms the company's full implementation of the program to prepare for the autumn-winter peak load on the power system.

Rosseti South branches have completed maintenance and repairs of key equipment that ensures the operation of the power grid in the regions off the company activities. The corresponding plan in physical terms for the main types of work was completed by 109%.

To ensure reliable power supply to customers in the company's area of ​​responsibility—the Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Rostov regions, and the Republic of Kalmykia—power engineers repaired more than 3,200 transformer substations, nearly 1,800 kilometers of overhead power lines, and 21 kilometers of cable power lines, as well as cleared over one thousand hectares of roads in the power line protection zones.

Rosseti South is ready to ensure reliable power supply with over 670 teams (3,400 power engineers) equipped with 1,700 units of specialized equipment. 360 backup power sources with a total capacity of over 16 MW have been prepared in case of a need to supply electricity to socially significant facilities in the event of technological disruptions.
