Rosseti South increased financing for the repair works by 28,5%

In January-September of 2025, Rosseti South increased funding for the maintenance and repair of energy facilities in regions of the company activities by 28.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching 2.6 billion rubles.

1.3 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of repair program activities in the Rostov Region, 687 million rubles in the Volgograd Region, 391 million rubles in the Astrakhan Region, and almost 213 million rubles in the Republic of Kalmykia.

Over the course of nine months, specialists from the company’s branches repaired 1,700 overhead power lines. The share of the 0.4-10 kV distribution network power lines, which provide electricity to the residential sector, in the total volume of work amounted to 67%. Power engineers replaced 5,100 supports, 53,000 insulators, and 543 km of wire. Over a thousand hectares of power line protection zones were cleared of trees and shrub vegetation. This will reduce the risks of technological failures due to falling branches and trees on wires, as well as grass-roots fires.

Rosseti South specialists also performed maintenance and repairs of 1,300 power transformers at 35-110 kV substations, nearly 7,000 units of switching equipment, and 3,000 transformer substations.
The grid company implements a repair program annually to improve the reliability of power supply to customers, including during summer and winter peak loads.
