Rosseti South is to invest 4 billion rubles in the development of the energy complex

Rosseti South plans to allocate 4 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment program in 2023. This amount of investment will allow to construct almost 370 km of power transmission lines and put power facilities with a total capacity of 67 MVA into operation in the regions of the company’s operation.

Thus, 2.3 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the energy complex of Rostov Oblast. 180 km of power transmission lines and transformers with total capacity of 47 MVA will be built and reconstructed by the power engineers in this region.

847 billion rubles are expected to transfer to Volgograd Oblast, and will be used to build and upgrade 48 km of transmission lines and substations with a total capacity of 8 MVA.

The amount of funding for the program in Astrakhan Oblast will be 703 million rubles. The regional work schedule includes the construction and reconstruction of more than 100 km of power transmission lines and transformers with total capacity of 11 MVA.

40 km of transmission lines and 1 MVA substations will be built in Kalmykia. The investments are estimated at 217 million rubles.

As expected, construction of facilities for utility connection of preferential energy consumers category will continue this year. Almost 1.9 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes (an increase of 27% by 2022). At the request of beneficiaries, 260 km of power transmission lines will be built and transformer stations with the capacity of 28 MVA will be provided to fulfill the company's obligations.

The implementation of Rosseti South's investment program will create the conditions necessary to ensure the capacity of power grids, to make utility connections, and to maintain the operational readiness of equipment required for a reliable, uninterrupted, and high-quality power supply to consumers.
