Rosseti South carries out the repair program ahead of schedule

1.6 thousand kilometers of power transmission lines of various voltage classes and 25 power transformers were repaired by Rosseti South specialists in the first half of 2020. Also, 1,5 thousand transformer substations and more than 1,8 thousand switching devices were repaired, and almost 700 hectares of overhead lines were cleared of vegetation. The reliability of power supply to consumers directly depends on this power grid equipment.

Maintenance and repairs are carried out ahead of schedule and amounted from 100 to 123%. It is planned to repair almost 3 thousand km of power transmission lines of different voltage classes, 2.2 thousand km of which are 0.4-20 kV networks located mainly in rural areas and remote settlements, 3 thousand transformer substations in this year. Rosseti South will transfer 1.6 billion rubles for the repair and maintenance of the Rostov, Astrakhan, Volgograd regions and the Republic of Kalmykia energy complexes.

The costs for preparation of the electric grid complex of the Rostov region for the next autumn-winter period will amount to 805 million rubles, and for the Volgograd region - 439 million rubles. 256 million rubles will be spent for the maintenance and repair of networks in the Astrakhan region, and 92 million rubles in Kalmykia.

“All works on the current maintenance and renovation of networks, contracts for operational and technical services, power supply services are carried out on time and in the required amount, despite the unfavorable epidemiological situation. 1.6 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the maintenance program, which is 10% more than in 2019, ”said Boris Ebzeev, General Director of Rosseti South.
