Rosseti South accepted more than 287 km of power transmission lines in 2020

Over the past year, Rosseti South accepted more than 287 km of power transmission lines and 110 complete transformer substations with a capacity of 149 MVA in the regions of its activities. More than 45 km of power transmission lines are planned to be added to the balance sheet in 2021.

Most of the facilities were in an extremely unsatisfactory condition: worn out equipment and dilapidated networks were not serviced, causing power failures to customers.

Almost half of the consolidated grids account for unowned objects in the Rostov region - more than 113,8 km of power transmission lines and 32 transformer substations with a capacity of 8 MVA. They are located in the Kagalnitsky, Azov, Aksai districts of the Donskoi region. In addition, more than 60 km of lines and 24 transformer substations with a capacity of over 32 MVA (the power grid property of the former Rostov-on-Don airport) were accepted for temporary use and commissioning.

68.8 km of power transmission lines and 42 transformer substations with a capacity of 15 MVA were transferred to the balance sheet of the company in the Astrakhan region. They are located in Astrakhan, Akhtubinsky, Volodarsky and Ikryaninsky districts, including the objects of several garden partnerships.

The power grid company has consolidated 44 km of power transmission lines and 12 transformer substations with a capacity of over 93 MVA in the Sredneakhtubinsky, Kumylzhensky, Surovikinsky districts of the Volgograd region.

The issue of consolidation of unstable territorial grid assets, including unowned, is one of the priority production tasks of the company that the government has assigned for power engineers. It is also enshrined in the strategy for the development of the power grid complex of Russia.
