Rosseti South presented its experience in innovative developments in the field of electric power

Rosseti South participated in the international scientific and technical conference "Cybernetics of Energy Systems," where they presented their experience with innovative developments in the electric power industry. The event took place at the M.I. Platov South-Russian State Polytechnical University in Novocherkassk.

The conference discussed issues related to the development and operation of energy systems, relay protection and emergency management, the implementation of digital technologies in the electric power industry, as well as the integration and operation of distributed generation facilities.

Pavel Goncharov, First Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer of Rosseti South, discussed scientific collaboration with the South-Russian State Polytechnical University and the company's innovative developments. As an example, he cited a project to create a digital substation simulator for personnel training. "Today, we use this simulator to train employees to work with automated systems, relay protection, communications specialists, and IT specialists," noted Pavel Goncharov.

The annual conference "Cybernetics of Energy Systems" is a traditional communication platform for interaction between research organizations, universities, and specialists from grid and energy supply companies, energy equipment manufacturers, industrial enterprises, and design organizations.

The event was organized by the Platov Southern State Pedagogical Univercity, Rosseti PJSC, Rosseti South PJSC, System Operator of the Unified Energy System JSC, RusHydro PJSC, the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Russian Academy of Electrical Sciences.
