More than 21,000 students completed training at the Interregional Energy Institute of the South in 2025

In 2025, more than 21,000 students, 11,400 of whom were company employees, completed training at the Interregional Energy Institute of the South, the basic educational institution for Rosseti South and energy companies in the Southern Federal District.

The Interregional Energy Institute of the South is Rosseti South's main partner in training and improving the qualifications of technical personnel. This educational institution provides training of any level of complexity for energy companies, industrial enterprises, various institutions and organizations. The institute offers over 100 specialized programs and a modern educational and laboratory facility: a training ground with equipped areas for teaching live electrical work techniques and modern substation equipment, classrooms, and laboratories. The training is conducted by highly qualified teaching staff, including technical managers from Rosseti South branches and part-time instructors with extensive experience working in energy companies in various fields.

Last year, the Interregional Energy Institute of the South, together with the South-Russian State Polytechnic University (Novocherkassk), implemented an educational project for professional retraining, "Electric Power Systems and Networks." The course was aimed at employees of the power grid company who do not have a specialized education. Upon completion of their training, students received diplomas and the right to engage in professional activities in the field of electric power and electrical engineering.

Over the course of the year, the Interregional Energy Institute of the South also implemented programs to prepare employees for testing their knowledge of heat supply regulations and rules, including the technical operation of thermal power plants, the operation of protection panels, and the setup of transformer relay protection. Students improved their skills in working with key Russian software as part of the implementation of additional professional programs.
