Rosseti South plans to allocate 4,6 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment program in 2024. This amount of investment will allow to construct 554 km of power transmission lines and put power facilities with a total capacity of 88 MVA into operation in the regions of the company’s operation.
In 2023, Rosseti South executed about 15 thousand contracts for technological connection to the grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with almost 440 MW of capacity. The largest amount of work to increase capacity and connect new customers was performed in the Rostov Region: 7.3 thousand contracts for 272 MW (+11.7 % compared to the 2022).
>In 2024, Rosseti South plans to allocate almost 2.4 billion rubles to repair and maintain electric grid facilities in the regions of company activities, which is 14% more than in 2023.
>In January-November 2023, Rosseti South executed more than 13.3 thousand contracts for technological connection to the grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with 398 MW of capacity. The largest amount of work to increase capacity and connect new customers was performed in the Rostov Region: 6.6 thousand contracts for 248.7 MW of capacity (+21.8% compared to the January-November 2022).

Since the beginning of 2023, Rosseti South has allocated more than 1.8 billion rubles for the implementation of the electric grid maintenance and repair program in the regions of the company activity. This index is 19% higher than January-September last year.
>From January to September of 2023, Rosseti South allocated 3.6 billion rubles (145% of the plan) to develop the energy systems in the regions of the company activities. The amount of investment for the energy sector in the Astrakhan region amounted to almost 598 million rubles, in the Volgograd region — 813 million rubles, in Kalmykia — 164 million rubles, in Rostov region — 2 billion rubles.
From January to October 2023, Rosseti South executed almost 12 thousand contracts for technological connection to the company's grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with almost 370 MW of capacity.
>Since the beginning of 2023, Rosseti South specialists repaired almost 3,100 transformer substations with a capacity of 6-10/0.4 kV in the regions of the company activity. The amount of funding for the works amounted to almost 86 million rubles.

In January-September 2023, Rosseti South specialists repaired more than 1,500 km of overhead power lines and 23 km of cable lines under the electric grid equipment maintenance and repair program. The volume of work financing amounted to more than 390 million rubles, which is 5.4% more than last year.
Power engineers repaired almost 400 km of overhead power lines in Astrakhan region, 378 km in Volgograd region, about 133 km in Kalmykia, 639 km in Rostov region. In the total volume of repaired power facilities, the share of 35-110 kV transmission lines amounted to 33%, 0.4-20 kV overhead lines - 67%.
Power engineers replaced 47.6 thousand insulators, 547 km of wire, more than 4.5 thousand supports and 13 km of lightning protection rope on power transmission lines in all regions of the company activity. 69 km of uninsulated wire were replaced with self-supporting insulated wire with improved characteristics in the 0.4 kV distribution network. It is more reliable compared to bare wire, has higher durability and long service life.
In addition, 1.5 thousand hectares of power line protection zones were cleared of tree and shrub vegetation. Such works is carried out in order to reduce the risks of technological failures due to falling branches and trees on wires, as well as grass-roots fires.
Realization of the maintenance program measures will ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to customers, reduce the number of technological failures and the time of their elimination, and prepare the power grid complex for the autumn-winter period of 2023/2024.
As a result of financial and economic activities in January-September 2023, Rosseti South paid 6.1 billion rubles to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds - an increase of 36.2% over the same period in 2022.
>In January-September 2023, the amount of electricity supply from the grid in the regions Rosseti South activity increased by 2.4% to 18.3 bln kWh in January-September 2022 compared to the same period last year. The positive dynamics of the indicator was due to a 19.2% increase in electricity consumption by oil transportation companies and a 3.3% increase in electricity consumption by households.
>Since the beginning of 2023, Rosseti South PJSC reduced overdue accounts receivable of customers for electric power transmission services by 24.2% (1.1 billion rubles). On October 1 of this year it amounted to 3.5 billion rubles. In the total structure of debts, the share of regional guaranteed suppliers of electricity is 21%, energy sales companies - 20%, direct bankrupt consumers - 21%.
>According to the Russian accounting standards, in January-September 2023, Rosseti South, PJSC received 3.6 billion rubles in net profit, which is 2.6 times higher than the previous year.
In January-September 2023, after the remote data analysis and raid inspections, Rosseti South specialists prevented over 900 cases of illegal electricity consumption totaling 17.4 million kWh, which is 27% more than in the previous year.
>From January to July 2023, Rosseti South executed more than 10.8 thousand contracts for technological connection to the company's grid infrastructure in the regions of its activity and provided new customers with 322,3 MW of capacity.
>In the first nine months of 2023, specialists of Rostovenergo (branch of Rosseti South) repaired the equipment of more than 80 35-110 kV substations in the central part of the Rostov Region. This will ensure reliable power supply to customers during the fall and winter period in densely populated areas of the region: Aksaysky, Bagayevsky, Veselovsky and Semikarakorsky, as well as Rostov-on-Don.

The team of Rosseti South specialists was awarded with the third place in the team standings based on the results of all stages of the championship. The team took bronze in the analyst competition as well.
